These glass beds make a rugged printing surface. Some people swear by printing directly on to glass with glue stick, but we prefer the results we get when used in conjuction with blue or Kapton (polyimide) tapes.
Now MADE IN SYDNEY
Borosilicate glass is better than normal window (float) glass in that it can better withstand sudden changes in temperature without breaking. This is especially important when using a heated bed with ABS, but also a good idea when using PLA alone.
200x212mm is a great size for sitting on top of our heated bed boards, using bulldog clips or similar to hold if while printing, then remove the clips to remove the print while not on the machine. It is 3mm thick.
