This flame Retardent ABS is a cream-white and has tested with flame resistence UL rateing 94 (the top level) 2.5mm 5VA.
What does Flame Retardant mean.
It means the plastic does not want to catch fire, it has low ignitability. The plastic is resistivity to flame, it perfect for environments where there is risk of explosion or other flame hazard. Many products in the food industry for example need a UL rating.
Please be aware that Flame resistant ABS has lower softening temperatures (around 80 deg c)
All our PLA and ABS (1 kg spools) are now Perfectly wound (yes those are photos not CAD illustrations). This means a not only do we guarantee it is going to unwind perfectly, but also you will discover that it does not spring back onto the spool in the same way traditional spools do. The spool does not want to unwind, so you do not get filament cross threading and tangling.
