MakerJuice Logo

Bilby3D is the Australian Distributor of the MakerJuice range of Resins and Pigments

During testing we have found these resins to be top quality. We have found them to be low smell compared to the OEM B9 Creator and Form 1 resins.

The price is very low. Unfortunately freight to Australia is almost half the cost of the product, but as we order in larger numbers the price can come down somewhat.

We stock the "Natural" unpigmented version, as it allows us to stock a smaller number of individual products and pass the saving on to you.

The range of EZ-Pigments come pre-diluted so you can easily mix them into the resin. The pigments are mixable so you can make your own colours. The proportions are 1 bottle of pigment to one liter of SubG+ resin, or 1 bottle per 2 liters of SubG resin.
The SubG Range of resins are intended for general purpose use.
They have a high shrinkage of around 8% which makes it unsuitable for larger prints. They are very low viscosity which may be great for some printers, but unsuitable for those with rapidly moving tables such as the B9 Creator. Both types of resin have been tested by the manufacturer with the mUVe1 and OpenSL 1.0 3D Printers

The SubG Plus Range of resins are intended for finer, high resolution use.
Finished prints are tough but not brittle. Our testing has found that have a slight rubbery feel and flex, but hold their shape strongly. Cleaup with a bath of isoproyl alcohol then rinse in tap water. Post printing cure in sunlight is enough, though a UV cabinet could be used.
This resing is supplied as "Natural" in colour which is pretty clear for flat surfaces up to 4mm thick, but thick objects will show a yellowy brown tinge, so pigment would be added for these applications.
SubG+ cures under UV A, B, and C light with wavelengths up to 420nm. Excellent for use with machines operating with a DLP projector, UV laser or UV LEDs.
The resin is truely low ordour, in our tests we found it much lower than the OEM B9Creator or Form1 resins. It has zero VOC and is only midly irritant.
This resin will not effect PLA, but will cause degradation in ABS when uncured.
SubG+ offers a low shrinkage of less than 3.5%.
The higher viscosity which makes this resin great for the B9 Creator - Recommended settings here.
- SubG+ Material Safety Data Sheet

The EZ Range of Pigments can be used with either the SubG or SubG+ range of resins. They are mixable - so you can use several pigments to produce the colour you want. These little pigment bottles contain prediluted pigments - making for easier mixing
They are designed so when using one colour - just add a whole bottle to 1 liter of SubG+ resin, or one bottle to 2 liters of SubG resin. Simple and easy.
